After about 6 runs it finally gave out a result, which was 343whp and 319wtq. After seeing what most of these cars dyno, I couldnt help but expect a little more. Now right before I left the shop owner said that the guys messed up and ran it in 3rd gear and told me to come back anytime and he would run it again free of charge. Im taking it back in a couple weeks I was just curious if dynoing in 3rd makes that much difference, or maybe the engine got heat soaked after so many trial runs pretty much within a minute or less off of each other. I also left the AC on and they didnt notice it so it was left on the whole time and the dude that was in my car got bored I guess and started to mess with the throttle controller because when I got back in the car, it was on eco3 setting. heres the pic of the dyno sheet.. what do you guys think?

Some, older dynos are maxed out on speed at a certain MPH. So some have to run the fifth gen in third hear. There is a formula you can use, some build into the dyno and some need to do it manually, to calculate the HP in 4th gear even when doing a 3rd gear pull, its somewhat accurate. "somewhat". Tuners can use the data but most prefer to have a 4th gear pull. As for the throttle controller, it wont matter what setting its on, as long as its WOT when they start the data acquisition. Me personally I would keep it on either ECO0 or SP0 thats the stock setting. There is no measurable increase or decrease in power, regardless of setting.

A drop in filter wont get you jack squat, so don't be too disappointed in that. Get yourself that free dyno run they owe you and tell them to leave the deadbeats at home!
