2015 Red Hot ZL1

As Becky already knows (I bought it from her), I traded in my 2011 2SS/RS IBM A6 Camaro on Sept. 18th for a new 2015 Red Hot ZL1 A6 with VIN number 2G1FM1EP1F9801800. Way back in post #1 Becky asked for a background story so here's mine:

I got my first Camaro way back in high school, bought a '69 with a 327c.i. V8 in 1977. She was orange with a black vinyl top (remember those?). The engine was easy to mod, ended up adding a cam, intake, carb, headers, beefed up suspension etc. To this day the '69 is my favorite body style. Sold the car in 1987 when I moved from Seattle to Dallas for graduate school. Fast forward to the summer of 2010 when I first saw the new C5's. Found this forum for information and then found Becky (and Rodgers Chevy) thru this group. Becky found a 2011 2SS/RS down in Ohio and I loved the car for 5 full years. Fast forward to a month ago. My warranty was ending so I was contemplating some mods (LT headers etc). Then got to thinking about the new '16 Camaro. I was in for an oil change at Rodgers and a stopped by Becky's office to bounce ideas off her. We talked pros and cons of modding my SS vs. a new '16. She then mentioned that she had a new ZL1 coming to the dealership in a week and suggested I come back for a test drive. Did just that on Sept. 16th and that was all she wrote! Two days later I traded in my SS for the ZL1. As much as I loved the SS, the ZL1 is just amazing!

Everyone in this forum already knows this but I must give a shout out to Becky for all she does for her customers and for the forum. The entire Rodger's crew is just wonderful, I just can't imagine working with another dealership. I'm spoiled having them less than an hour's drive away.

Anyway, that's my story. Thanks for reading.
