I really don't know about the structural integrity of the kits. I would be weary of what they would do to the door frame structure over time, but perhaps the kits take care of the stress point issue.

The other aspect is what is required for installation. If it in anyway involves cutting, or permanently changing any of the stock configuration, I wouldn't do it. Simply because if you ever do, and one day you will, want to sell the car, the market will be very slim for you. You will want to be able to return the car to stock when it comes time to sell of trade. (Or when you have the epiphany that these look really silly on anything but a Lambo)
