Thank you everyone for the tips! My car is currently down for an engine build so will be parked a while, was thinking now was a time to be able to pick away at it.

I still have a lot of the sides to do, but all of the floor is done and it made a huge difference. My helpers gave out on me and I had to put the car back together. I had no troubles at all re-installing parts due to the thicker mat as I worried I might. One of the best mods I have done. I will warn that the interior of the car will smell like tar for a few weeks, but a couple good hot sunny days will help it dissipate. I couldn't notice a thing, and neither could my much more sensitive smelling wife after a few weeks. Watch the video on how to remove the seats, especially the rear on YouTube and buy a good roller for the install. The free ones work for maybe 5 minutes! Good luck!

I was also wondering how reassembly would go with having put and extra layer down but good to hear it's still all good! Look forward to doing this! If only my 8 month old would give me some time lol.
