My state in many areas is experiencing wide destruction. I have been very blessed. While I have seen many photos, reports, and videos that show people who have lost their residences, possessions or family/friends; my family and house are fine. Every family member and friend that I have checked on so far has not even had water enter their homes. Their are neighborhoods not even a couple miles from my house that have heavy water damage. Roads are washed out and many people being trapped in their cars. I never even lost power. I was on a short home vacation and missed out on some rescue work that I hope I'll never have to participate in. We have a saying in SC, God is good, all the time and that applies even today. Hope the other Camaro brethren on here are ok too. Be good fellas.
Edit: This pic is from a call I responded to with my volunteer Fire department. A guy decided to kayak in swift water and was trapped. I tried to rally a civilian boat to get to him cause my department doesn't have one. Coast Gaurd boat that just happened to be in the area rescued him while I was getting ready to put in upstream. The orange spec is his kayak. This area is normally swamp water that is typically 2 feet deep at the most. Water was up past his chest as he held onto a tree.
