OP,
the V8 certainly enhances the driving experience...

you can roughly estimate your montly gas as a ballpark like this

take the size of the fuel tank and multiply by the price difference between regular and premium
so say .30/litre x 50 litres= $15.
multiply by the number of times you fill up in a month...say x 4= $60 difference
then add say 1 more tank since the mileage is slightly lower in the V8.
I would think you will be over $100 month difference

also, maintainance is slightly higher on the V8 (synthetic oil vs. dextros hybrid)

I bought the V6 only because you can only go so fast here anyway and the extra 1 second did not matter to me..I will agree with some of the other posts that because of the weight,I am also on the pedal a little more to get the performance out of the V6. And also, I did not want to commit to a vehicle that the recommended fuel is premium.

We know that the fuel prices are higher here in Canada than the USA
