I think I answered this question once before. It wouldn't change my mind, especially if I desired a ZL1 before and after the Z28. Now if I wanted a Z28 but couldn't pull the price tag then the 20K price drop would be nice.
But given the same buying opportunity that I had almost two years ago, I'd still choose the ZL. Z28 will need to get back to basics and become more user friendly in order to gain greater sales and acceptance. Don't get me wrong, its an outstanding performer, but the price and timing just wasn't there for the Z28. The 1LE really owned the track prepped Camaro niche IMO (ZLs are no slouches, but the ZL is the best all around Camaro IMO).
