I hear ya OP! I'm a meticulous owner. My Camaro, my motorcycles, my house...everything is spotless. My wife and I work hard for our money, have a lot of nice things for being young people, and we're proud of that. I couldn't imagine buying stuff just to let it go to Hell. I refuse to drive my vehicles if they are filthy. My
BLACK SS (black paint is a love/hate relationship) is very tough to keep clean. It stays in my garage, covered up, waiting for a nice weekend. Even with being covered, dust and pollen still manage to sneak under there and wreak havoc on my nice wax job. It drives me crazy, but that is why I keep a California Duster in the trunk. Pull it out of the garage, grab the Duster and give it a once over. Everybody is different, I get that. I just don't understand spending money on nice things, only to treat them like an old doormat.

Hypothetical:
"Hey man, I know you and your wife just spent $5,000 on new carpeting, do you want me to take off my shoes?". "No, it'll just get dirty anyways. Mud doesn't bother us.".
