Well just got of the phone with the service department and seems like they had some good news. They checked all the wiring to and from the starter and it all checked out as fine. Flywheel is in good shape with no damage caused. The new starter is in and the car is functioning. They are going to keep it for part of the day to make sure it stays working and I should be able to get it back tomorrow.
