I think god replied by shutting off the fire alarms and allowing air to spread quickly out of the house with everything open. now i'm freezing cold...
Just watched a few vids on youtube. I will probably heat up the damper first with newspaper than maybe try again..if I can find the courage to do so. I don't know if I can stand another firealarm screech again.
Called my dad during the ordeal and he walked me through it. Thank goodness for that or i'd probably still be freaking out.
I just have a question or two.. Is a house fire supposed to smoke like crazy, and is the flue supposed to be rather small looking?
