Bucking isn't an issue with a manual. It's really easy to drive and make it not buck. I got used to it in a couple hours. I'm also running stock LS3 gears, 3.91+ hearing will make the bucking even less.
A good tune makes a difference, did you have a tuner lined up already? Ask them about cam choice and if they have tuned a similar set up.
