These kinds of things are unfortunately all to common in todays times. It's a miracle she wasn't hurt and I'm sure the last thing she was worried about after getting out of the trunk was making sure police knew she had Onstar. I know my state of mind wouldn't be good at all. I'm sure she spent that hour scared to death that guy was going to kill her. Insurance will fix/replace her car, they can't do the same for her life.
Hopefully they'll catch the guy but he'll probably get off with a slap on the wrist, a few years in jail at the worst. I'm sure it's not his first go round and they'll keep letting him go until one day he goes a step farther and hurts/kills someone. All one can hope is that his stupidity takes him out of the picture before he has a chance to hurt someone else.
