There would be more fabricating to mount 3" hose to the Z/28 duct, making one have a smooth transition to the other may present a challenge. The Z/28 duct is bigger than one may think, a bigger cross section than 3" hose. I would not disagree that anything is possible with more time, thinking and money.

If you are talking about running the hose parallel to the frame (wheel well side), you still have to contend with the radius rod. Though, with the suspension at static ride height there may be enough room to squeeze it above the radius rod. I've seen others run their hose thru the OE hole in the wheelhouse with minor trimming. I'm at work right now, so I can't lay eyes on my car to confirm the above observations. I have my 3" hose running inside the frame rail then bridging over thru the splash shielding.

My thinking was the advantage of the Quantums is focused cooling right at the center of the rotor. The Z/28 ducts can help with more overall heat removal.

That is a good idea on an air source for an aux oil cooler, though my small opening from the fog light is smaller than 3". The 3" hose actually slipped over the bumper cover's fog light mounting tabs (rather perfect fit). I did not have to add any other means to fasten it, the mounting teeth grab the hose.

I've followed your build, lots of great info, thank you. I appreciate your input here on mine.

I'd love to hear your thoughts on the RideTechs.
