I think Jekyll-N-Hyde gets the point I was so poorly trying to make. Its the fans that wear the burnt orange now, but will sell it all at garage sale prices if they start losing, those are the ones I don't want to waste my time with. You all made some great points about loyalty that should not be ignored. My point about being alum was the wrong approach.
I am a Miami Dolphins fan. Figure that one out!

Its all good It really doesnt matter to me there are a lot of things better to rant about in life if you ask me.
Half of any fan on the street today is a Tshirt fan. I dont treat them any different than myself just because they didnt go to UT however there are the ones who rattle on about history and all they know is the last 5 years. Those are the ones I laugh at and think to myself give it a few years they will be wearing another school to make them look cool.
I grew up in a small town and when I got out and moved on to Austin at first I didnt know what to do then I realized there was so much more than where I came from. The point I was throwing out there was lubbock doesnt really have much.
Hot wind , dirt and thats about it. Oh Trust me I know !!!! sure was nice to get out of it.
Todays Students at Tech seem worse in my opinion than a bunch of Aggies ranting over beating Us.
I guess because most of the Tech students now are going to Tech for the party factor.
I really dont let any fan get to me normally not even the many of Tshirt fans Texas has soon on later they
show how bright they are.
its all good.
Dolphins fan huh? Wow what a turn around they went through last year maybe you can give some detroit fans a peptalk before the season.
You got my respect when yall play any other school out of Texas you get my cheer. Now if you were Oklahoma....we wont even go there.
