Built 6L80 vs 4L80
Im looking at being around 650rwhp with nitrous and trying to determine if building my 6L80 is worth it. I already have a flare in 3-4 shift and know I need to fix it. Cost wise 4L80 is going to be more but in other peoples experiences, is it do it right the first time and pay for the 4L80 or have the 6L80s held up?
Car is not my DD but I do drive it to work and around town as well as take it to the track. I am not concerned about losing two gears (really one). Just trying to justify which route I should go as both are costly. Especially the 4L80 with required components I don't have (new driveshaft, converter, TCM, etc).
