I had an experience in the mid 90's that caused me to become a concealed carry weapons holder (CCW).
It was early in the morning (around 4:30 am) and I was on my way to work. I rolled up to an intersection with a low-rider in the lane next to me on my left. I glanced over and made eye contact with the passenger in the car, and that's all it took. The guy yelled, "What the F*%$ are you looking at!", and then raised up a
machine pistol! Sweet Jesus, I thought I was a goner. The traffic light changed to green and they sped off.
From that day forward, I vowed to myself to
never be caught defenseless in my car or truck again. Honestly, I am never going to look for trouble, but I am ready as a last resort.
