Did you not know about the pump failure before purchasing? Before I buy a car, I always look into the known issues and fixes, etc. Or did you just see a shiny car and go home with it?
It's a good time to upgrade. As Bo said, oil pump, cam, timing set, etc. You'll love your car even more.
