I haul my ZL1 A6 in an Enclosed Trailer.
Always in Park (pretty much the same as in gear) and with the parking brake as tight as possible.
I use 4 straps from the sub frame tie down points to the trailer D rings.
I use T hook straps int he front and J hooks in the rear.
I do not cross the straps.
The car doesn't move an inch.
