Pedal Vibrations
So I've been experiencing this new issues. I'm not totally sure if it is something I have just noticed of if its something that has just developed.
Whenever I rest my foot on the clutch pedal, I can feel a distinct vibration that is mirrored to the RPM of the car. This only can be felt when I rest my foot on the pedal though (maybe the first 1/2 inch of travel) but as soon as I start to put real pressure on the clutch pedal, the vibration goes away. It is only there if I am resting my foot on it. The vibration goes away before the clutch even completely disengages. This can also be felt in neutral. If I am at a stoplight and the car is in neutral, I can feel the vibration in the pedal and if I rev the engine, the vibration matches the RPM.
I did see there was a thread similar to this by White_SS/RS, but his problem seems different than mine. He described his feeling as "resting my foot on the pedal and all the way through max pedal travel." I don't have the full travel part of his.
This is in my 2013 1LE. I've swapped the cam with the Tick Polluter cam, and I do drive it pretty hard. Love doing a good pull when I get the chance. Like I said, I'm wondering if this is something I've just noticed or if it's something I need to fix. Purchased the car in May, and I feel like all of the "just noticed" part of a new car are probably gone.
Also, if anyone was wondering about the cam, I dyno'd 480hp/442tq with 1-3/4 headers and the polluter cam. Everything else is stock, including the airbox.
