I did the delete this past season on my LS3. But I went the Solo J-pipe route cuz it's all stainless and wanted to make sure there was no drone at all for the wife and kids. I can attest that it has zero drone. In-fact, I had more drone in the cabin before the delete. I love the sound for the price but it certainly sounds more like "raw power" when you get on it and not as refined as having aftermarket muffs on.

Normal driving, I can hardly tell the difference from stock. I wish it was louder on take -off. But when you get on it, it really wakes up and has an awesome RAW sound.

I would hack them off myself I I were you. So it will cost zero dollars. Then see if you like it. If not, then you can add aftermarket parts. If you do like it, you can then order the Solo piping with J-pipe or just have a shop extend the pipe/tips.
