No, like I said I did EVERYTHING from the B pillar back even the inside of the 1/4 panels. My J/pipes keep getting louder as time goes by (carbon build up) but they are not over the top. Never did a comparison but for the low cost and 3-4 hours time it was well with it. Also I insulated for outside road noise for my long interstate trips, not necessarily to reduce the exhaust noise.
