I had the same problem and lots of other guys have as well. Never was able to install it with the brackets as described in the instructions. That being said I ran it for years like this without issue on the road and the track. The intake basically locks the radiator in place. Just put a Mishimoto radiator in on the new engine build and plan to fab something more permanent this time around though.
