You'll inevitably want more than 800 so, as stated, go ahead with a dual pump setup.
I have the JMS also. I'm using a Squash setup and am only boosting the second pump. I'm not using the 0-5V input but using a Hobbs switch. I can't say any results yet because the car isn't together.
