Welcome to the forums and thank you for not posting if catch cans are worth it as a legitimate question as your first post!

The trunks are actually rather easy to lock outside of the rear pass through on coupes. If you push the lock button on the key fob the trunk is locked and cannot be opened without unlocking the car first. You can reach in through an open window, but as long as you pushed the key fob lock button the trunk release button will not open the trunk. On the flip side, if you can squeeze through an open window on a coupe to get to the trunk release then you need to eat a couple of sandwiches because you are way to thin!
