Just a little FYI ...
...and this is pretty much for EVERYONE...
if you get a ticket in your hometown, always try to ask for probation. If you get a ticket in a county that you do NOT live in, they won't give you probation. Why? Because, there is ZERO chance you will screw up and end up paying BOTH fines. But, you'll still have your defensive driving in your back pocket as your ace in the hole. Always, ALWAYS, try probation first. Now, if you have not gotten a ticket in 3 years...and that defensive driving is going to expire from your insurance, guess you got to go and take it....
