Congrats on the new ride! Yes, I agree with you about the new Gen6 side profile... really doesn't it for me either. Maybe its just me, but, I used to watch cartoons in the late 90's with my brother and the Gen 5 profile remindes me of the batmobile from Batman The Animated series from those years
As for the difference in engine... give it a couple rides/days for the engine to break in and expecially for the brakes to rough up the rotors/pads...there is a definite difference once everythign has settled. As previously mentioned, on the highway, the V8 can easily take you from 60 to 100 in a short spurt and little effort...VERYnice feeling!!
