LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - The head of an Okolona auto dealership whose car was involved in a deadly crash during a test drive has made his first comments about the incident.

Around 1 p.m. Sunday, Louisville Metro Police say 30-year-old Bryan Lee was test driving a 2009 Dodge Challenger from Commonwealth Dodge on Fern Valley Road when he hit Mercury Sable at the intersection of Fern Valley Way. The two people in the Sable, Toya Buckner-Dioum and her stepfather, Sherman King, Senior, were killed in the crash.

According to the police report, Lee was allegedly going over 100-miles-per-hour in a 45-mile-per-hour zone.

Tuesday, Billy Hays, president of Commonwealth Dodge, released this statement:

"Mr. Lee was in no way encouraged to break the law by our salesman, whose life was also in jeopardy during these events, and who incurred injuries in this needless accident. At two different times during this test drive, our salesman begged Mr. Lee to slow down."

Lee is being held at Louisville Metro Corrections on a $100,000 bond
