He was mentored by John Lingenfelter himself and Graham Behan (IMHO the best setup engineering wizard in the world, who JL recruited away from GM years ago) throughout his auto industry career.
These two individuals have made such an impression on Andy as a person and as a builder.
I have observed Andy over sometime and these are my observations of him and his work:
- His first and foremost aim is to do everything he does as if the car belonged to him
- His second aim is to NEVER compromise fit, feel and drivability for performance JL and GB have proven for YEARS you do not have too
- Lastly that if GM engineering has provided a way to get the job done in a performance application then by all means use it (GM has the biggest RnD budget to develop parts however small and insignificant in appearance)
