What is that literally hanging less than 2" from the road?
So I was on I-15 on my commute home today in the F150, and behind me a new 2015 Mustang GT comes up. They're very nice from the front imo... cool lighting. But the rear definitely needs work I think... cosmetically speaking.
Anyway, as I was checking it out, I found myself behind it and lo and behold, I noticed what either looks like suspension parts, or an odd looking differential hanging just a couple of inches from the ground. The car wasn't lowered, but I'd imagine you probably can't go much lower without possibly causing major damage, with that thing hanging from the rear end like that. On a track I'm sure it'll be fine... but on a rough road, look out!
So pic below... I couldn't believe it. Has anyone seen this on the new GT's? Does anyone know what that is?
Note - sorry the pic isn't very clear, but you can make that out.
