I'm pretty confident I understand the glass window would be very rigid when it folds down and I'm sure it tapers to the contour of the rear, my real question is the difference between the Fixed Plastic vs the Plastic Zippered?

Is it as simple as the zippered window is removable and the fixed is not? Is the plastic the same?
