Sounds like you gave the car too much gas when the gears were not fully connected. That happened once or twice with me too the first week. Not a big deal and there is nothing wrong with your car. If there was, it would happen every time or most of the time.. The burning is the clutch but it is very strong so no harm done there after a couple of those.. You just need to work on letting out the clutch and giving it gas with a smooth motion.
