Superman- Thanks for the response but I am sure that isn't the problem. I have been driving a stick for 25+ years. I don't give the car much gas when I let the clutch out. This is an event that has only happened twice, once when the car had about 1000 miles on it, and again at 1900 miles. I know what you are talking about when you let the clutch out during high RPM and it was a similiar feeling to that but not the same.

I know when you try to explain something to someone it's hard to understand so maybe I am not explaining things right. The clutch pedal would not come back up to it's normal position, it was like it was 1/2 engaged which was making the clutch slip. It would not return to the full unengaged position until I took the car out of gear.

Any other suggestions? Is there anything I can check or try prior to taking the car back to the dealer to be checked out? I thought about trying to do a good burn out to see if the clutch will correct itself, but then I'm afraid that would give the dealer a reason to think that the car has been abused.
