So, do I understand you correctly in that you want a V8 but you won't buy it because it will have two extra letters on the front grille?
Debadging really isn't all that difficult. And if you're referring to the changed front fascia we've been seeing in some spy pics, we don't know for sure that that's the SS' grille (so far as I know) and even then it won't be all that hard or expensive to convert the stock SS to a sleeper (which is what I think you're going for).
And so far as you're difficulties accepting a V6 as a muscle car, just keep in mind that it will be pushing out around 300 horses which is more than quite a few of the V8's on the market today and, in doing so it'll be lighter as well with a rumored 50/50 weight distribution.
Just keep thinking big picture and you'll be okay.
