So I got my car back from my tuner this week after installation of a Whipple and a healthy blower cam. Car already had SP Long Tubes, CAI, and a full Atak catback exhaust with cat delete. This set-up with a tune was already "loud", but not obnoxious and I loved how nasty it sounded. I am thrilled to now have more than 600 RWHP, but now the car with the Blower and Cam is absurdly loud. The first thing my seasoned tuner said was "your car is too loud"! Don't get me wrong - I LOVE loud, could care less about the back rap, raspiness, and any drone, but we are talking ticket material. Cold starts sound like a earthquake, but it does get a little quieter after warm up. So - anyone add inline mufflers or resonators to quiet their ride down, or am I faced with going with something other than the Atak Mufflers? Any examples out there from any members that had a similar issue?
