For what it's worth, when I bought my Camaro I began to experience back pain, and occasional thigh pain, anytime I drove it more than a few miles. My girlfriend experienced the same thing. We tried lumbar supports, but they were cumbersome and didn't do much good, so they got sidelined.
Then a strange thing happened; about 3 months after buying the car, the pain slowly began to disappear, for both of us. Now it's completely gone (knock on wood) and I find the car to be extremely comfortable, even for extended road trips. The only thing I can imagine is that we both needed time to acclimate to the Camaro's driving position.
