Also, if the only reason to jump a car is because it has a dead battery, then you'd always need a battery-to-battery connection and there would be no need for the remote terminal, per your reasoning.

You do what works for you and ill do what works for me. Like I said, even if I wanted to jump it from the front I couldn't have. I got it started and really thats the only thing that I care about.
