The fuse pull is for the V8 Cars, on Page 8-44 the Camaro Book Reads"If the vehicle has the 3.6L V6 engine(VIN Code V), use regular unleaded gasoline with a posted octane rating of 87 or higher."
The engine is tuned for 87, what that means is if the engine detects knocking it "The Computer" retards the timing until it does not detect anymore Knocking.
91 octane or 93 helps reduce the knocking therefore reducing the retarding of the timing.
that is the bottom line.
91 nor 93 is going to get more power.
