I see alot of you folks taking your key's blade out of the black plastic piece on the key and putting them back in the switchblade and it working for you... today i acquired a keyport 2.0 slide and had a blade cut for it, but my car wont start with it. I assumed it was because of a chip in the key or fob, but the car wont start with either near it... the dash is saying service theft deterrent system when i try to start it with that blade.. Is there anything special I have to do to make the new key work?
