Like any new "key", you need to program that one in. If you use the same fob that came with your car, that chip is already programmed in and all you need to do is put the blade into the switchblade holder. If you buy a new fob, which is what I'm guessing the "keyport 2.0 slide" is, you'll need to go through the process of getting it programmed for you car. I believe the instructions are in your manual. If they're not they're definitely in these forums somewhere.
BTW - I joined the key recall reversal club over the weekend and I'm loving having the switchblade back again! I do have to admit that sometimes my fingers get confused and look for the regular key when getting into my car. A few more days of the switchblade and that will be a distant memory.
