First dealer I went to basically said "no, we do not offer test drives." They had 1 SS and 1 LT. The guy basically said the cars will sell within the week and someone else will be taking them home soon so we want to preserve them for that buyer. He also said, people that want to buy this car don't care how it drives, they want it for what it is. I also told him I would order a 6 speed manual and the one I was looking at was auto and "it would be a different experience anyway."
Second dealer only had one in the showroom, said no and would not elaborate further.
Third dealer (who I will likely order from) did not have any to test.
Did you guys have problems getting a test drive? Or did you just order "sight-unseen?"

I had Ed Morse Sawgrass FL Pontiac give me an attitude when I wanted to drive a G8 about a year ago. I told them to shove their G8.
Look where Pontiac and the G8 are now...
