I installed a Premier head unit in my Impreza with a Pioneer iPod connector in the dash. That head unit can read my playlists and track names, so I'm sure it is possible. If that doesn't work in the Camaro, there are
alternatives that allow for it to keep that OEM look. Just install the JL Cleansweep unit for high-quality audio and an appropriate iPod adaptor.
