I bought mine not long after I turned 50. I'm 53 now... I have never owned a cool car before but I always appreciated and admired them from afar. Marriage was on the rocks but I went ahead and bought the car anyways and we split maybe 3-4 months after that. And I still have it.
The Ex was a bonified tree hugger so me pulling this gas guzzling monster in the driveway only succeeded in throwing gas on the fire of a bad situation.
Oh well this is a fun car and I don't feel old driving it either.
