Think of it this way....
At 2000rpms you're getting 3x the amount of nitrous in the cylinders as you would at 6000rpms.
This is why you have the huge spikes in torque on the initial hit.
If you still want to do it have a reputable shop set it up. I'm sure they will do a small initial and a longer progression.
My 2 cents is don't do it. I ran a 250 plate for a couple years and never sprayed that low
