Eventually something won't fit together, nothing an exhaust shop couldn't take care of though. People are putting 3" exhaust on their V8 cars that is un- necessary so I don't see a prob with running 2 1/2" on a V6.
Catback or axleback, one system costs more but neither will make your car faster.
