Agreed and with a warranty versus all the pulley, cam, tune responses. I also think that road racers see this car differently than the 1/4 milers. Nothing wrong with that, I use to run a 10 second SRT8 (10.73@128.5mph) with 625rwhp. Once I learned to drive on a road course it changed my perspective. The old ZL1 is a capable car, but the next gen' with the alpha chassis and better engineering all around is going to be a road course monster.
If you're a 1,320' guy then yes, very little reason to upgrade to a car that weighs less, has better cooling, purpose-built steering wheel, next gen shocks, can handle better, stop better, record track footage, etc.
