Automatics are a big mystery to me....They seem to have been bullet-proof and worked well over the years for drag-racing....Road racing, not so much with American cars....too heavy....harder on brakes....etc....
Regardless of any of that, my question is why is this ten speed making it's debut in a Camaro?.....No year or two first in the Corvette?....or Cadillac first?....Is the Camaro the new guinea pig for the other lines?....
We've seen this trans at one track for a quick public relations, release story....I still would have my doubts it's a greatest thing for regular track duty as the first new automatic transmission seen in a Camaro....
