Find local show, drive car to show, park, clean car, enter car, pull out chair and umbrella... sleep and enjoy...lol.
There are people that go to shows and are extremely mad they did not win. There are people that go to shows and just enjoy hanging out with "car people", talking, seeing other cars, having a great time, making new friends. I suggest going and having a great time. Just to enjoy my car more, I don't really do many local shows, I like traveling to other towns and meeting new people, seeing new cars.
Like others have said, look online, if you know anyone that currently goes to shows may point you in the right direction, check the newspaper.
