I think this could help bolster development of a Gen V engine. It should be more efficient than the current V8s out there and I imagine an alloy Gen V is going to be close in weight to a twin turbo V6 with an iron block and less complicated. I mean you're going to have to run more plumbing for oil/coolant/intercooler/etc. for a FI engine so why not just make a larger engine more efficient and include AFM?
