Only to find/be disappointed with rust developing on the bumper support bracket 
So I proceeded to grind it all down with a cutting wheel to bare metal since it was bubbling, then sprayed self etching primer, sanded, and finally painted with some paint I had laying around which is almost a perfect match. Pic looks blotchy but that is only because I pulled it out and there is a bush casting a shadow to the left you can't see....
Now, onto my real project of restoring the nose.... to which after I may also jump on the xpel bandwagon and put a clear bra or maybe wrap the front clip.... |
It looks a little pissed about having it's nose removed! Good luck on your project! That xpel stuff seems amazing. albeit a bit expensive...
