A lot of TPW's, including mine, are being generated at 3000, but never before that. My understanding is that the dealer gets a preliminary date when it's accepted by GM (2000). That date can change when it goes to 3000 or 3300. My dealer told me the TPW was 9/21 when it went to 2000. But when it hit 3000 I got a revised date of 9/28.
